Join us on March 1st, 2025, for a community walk to step up and move forward together! Chevron’s so-called ‘Human Energy’ motto feels like a punchline when you see how this layoff mess has been handled—up to 20% of their global workforce cut with barely a plan, leaving thousands in the dark. Let’s take back some real human energy, one step at a time, and show what resilience looks like.

Week of March 10 is spring break for a lot of Houston area school districts. 1500 will be half empty at best.
I didn’t show up for work today and I don’t think anyone cares, but it is the weekend
I noticed a lot of people on my tean are taking vacations next week. Did you notice it too? March 10th AEOI deadling looming..
I walked outside for a bit. Job done.
Todays the day
March 1st is a Saturday.
Put this idea up there with all the other p--p initiatives that have cost the company money resulting in the need for job cuts.
Kudos to you though Karen. You keep fighting the good fight with those choc chip cookies and brownies at the rally.
Prob the only thing we will notice is even more parking spots.
Activate quietly quitting mode… oh wait!
@cx, you're right, I doubt anyone would notice. lol
How is that any different from the amount of work you normally would do that day?
Would be good to start talking about protests and other things that could be questionable. Use up time from global security to plan countermeasures.
I'll be on vacation and taking my laptop with me so I can click on that EOI as soon as I get it!
I plan on walking out with a severance! See ya! Good luck with that. Gotta go.
So on that Saturday, I'll walk out onto my front lawn. Does that count?
Corporate wide walkout has been happening since the SETH in February. All the cafeterias were filled after the SETH townhall and you had to wait 30 to 45 minutes to order food. Productivity has been declining ever since.
I’ll support you in spirit. Good luck

if there is no plan, why are the people at the top not let go
