Health solutions, or is it now solutions health… over 12 years dedicated service - always meeting or exceeding expectations and thought I was super close with my boss. After the rif I spoke to them and learned there were “ other forces in play” - Elevance is the shadiest place in the world. Oh and CG just connected with me on LinkedIn!

RIFs are based on if you are liked. Many top performers have been RIFd by devious little managers that are stock here because no other company will hire them.
@hc in my experience it is “performance based” but all that really means is the direct manager fills out an assessment and ranks at the bottom who they are ok with losing.
@d4 how do the higher up’s determine who gets rif’d? What is the criteria/basis?
@d4 A large % of the time, the manager gets to choose who they are letting go. As a matter of fact, I or my team have been apart of about 10 different RIF events and every time the direct manager got to pick who on their team was getting let go.
@dc no 5/1 is correct.
@cv hybrid and never missed the minimum number of days in the office.
Who is the COO of HS/SH presently? Whoever it is, needs to go immediately.
Did you mean 6/1/2025?
Manager here - it doesn't matter about your relationship with your manager - Managers are told what to do - it also doesn't matter about your relationship with a Director - everyone either does what they are told or they are ousted - opinions and input happened years ago at this company - today - NO ONE cares what you think - we are forced to get rid of people - it hurts but as "leadership" says - it's business
Were you in office or remote?
They don’t care about you, me, or anyone. It’s all about money. Doesn’t matter how close you are with managers or anything.
What other forces were in play? Also, is it Heatlh Solutions or Solutions Health now?
