MW- HR letter Insight?

Anyone have the scoop on the “report your friends for not having professional behavior” letter that was sent out?

Just followed my boss’s instruction to report this LC weasel.

It’s just a waste of time. Let’s see what actually happens. Probably nothing.

@h9 pretty funny to talk about finding and producing a barrel, while trashing on IT (when it’s not their job, but it actually is YOUR job to find oil.)

If you make it through this fiasco, you'll be working in a police state.

@f4 in order to calculate the cheapest unit cost per barrel, you’d actual need to find and produce a barrel, which IT has never done! Don’t forget what industry you’re in. But sure, you’re “winning.”

@ed by benchmarking standards, which function represents winners?

Let’s see:
if you want to be the cheapest unit cost per barrel or per employee, IT is by far the “winners” of this whole industry compared to Exxon, Shell, etc.

How’s exploration going? Dead last.
How’s capital projects going? Horrendous.
How’s BD and M&A? Can’t close Hess. Terrible REG acquisition. All New Energy projects stink too.
How’s our downstream? All the overhead with our unit cost sky high.

Now, tell me, which group do you belong to and how are you doing relative to the industry?

It has been reported by a few people I know. We all did it months ago.

They do not care.

@cz who’s Les’s CIO at GM? Name?
And he’s now working at EY getting paid by Chevron?

What’s the point of having a CIO at PSG 40+ if he’s just paying his daddy for advice? Chevron paying for 2 CIOs LMAO. That sounds about right.

How is an email that was sent to the entire company be "directed at IT"?

Y'all aren't special.

LC is writing checks to his former boss at General Motors, Hewlett Packard, Dell, and Wal-Mart. He is not the account exec for CIO advisory services at EY.

And if you look up the new GM of IT Operations under LC, just do a little research on every single one of those EY consultants we are paying for, while we are laying off all these people in the US.

There’s one thing about being the axe man - that is just business. But it should make everyone want to vomit that he is allowed to do this. Look up the history of all the EY people under KG, and tell us how they are qualified to provide MD and partner level consulting services to Chevron in any capacity. There are even family members in the EY consulting services.

This is nothing but hooking up friends. They have nothing of value to give. And we are paying these guys millions of dollars while destroying any semblance of the function at Chevron.

If Wirth and the rest of the board are unaware of the CIO’s conflicts of interest and shady deals with EY, they are even blinder than we thought. They have to know, and obviously they don’t care or are fine with it.

@c3+1jw0kqpm8 Because Mike’s letter was directed at IT.

How many other functions are hiring a VP or MD from another company, and he first tries to bring in his friends from this other company and place them in GM jobs that have been increased to their predecessors by a pay grade even though their friends have never managed more than 100 people in their previous jobs.

And when one of them fails, he goes and asks E&Y to hire more than TEN of his old buddies from his previous company (not poached since they didn’t have jobs, but laid off from his previous company)… and he’s the one writing the checks to E&Y, paying his former boss and 10 other friends.

How many other functions are doing this?

It’s not even the same as if JK in subsurface retires and we hired the head of subsurface from Shell, and Shell brings everybody to Chevron. This is like if JK is forced out, and we went to get the operations manager of f-ing Costco to lead the function. And he also brings all of the losers from Costco as disgusting as contractors for EY, while also picking a couple of them and making them PSG 29s with zero experience in the areas they lead.

This is not an IT thing. This is an ethical violation of epic proportions. That is our head of function.

@ay+1jw0kqpm8 A lot of people were wondering about what happened to LC’s chosen Data GM guy, LM, who was mysteriously fired before he could even get started. Look up his LinkedIn profile and you can see that he’s been lying about his accomplishments all along, saying that he stood up the AI strategy and execution at Chevron when everybody knows he did none of that.

It is now also clearer to me that he watched pRon on his Chevron laptop or harassed some vendor or contractor because despite all of his shadyass nature of coming into Chevron, he was the only one who got canned, rather than the enormous number of other people he’s putting on Chevron payroll for months. If MW and MN aren’t doing anything about LC, it is now very clear that LM was walked out because he is a pe-v, or at least not a very smart one.

I am sure that LC’s cronies at E&Y are being reported on. Look up all the E&Y contractors under KG. There’s even a set of brothers who didn’t join at the same time. One swindling money from Chevron and it got so good that he convinced his brother to give up on their failing startup after GM fired them for incompetence… let’s join daddy RM because LC is good for the check.
