just "quiet quit" in your seat and collect your pay.
Bless your heart.
You're welcome.
@v4 So you are willing to take a pay cut since you aren’t busy? Maybe a 50% cut since obviously 40 hours is way too much time to get your work done.
Since when have you and others thought that 8 hours a day was too hard. 😥
Global Markets (front line Traders and Management, not Support) has been 8/4 through the entire pandemic. Teller in Consumer, I think, too. (?)
Let that sink in.
Varies greatly by division and role.
Get your f-ing story straight. All this Anecdotal Diarrhea is pointless.
Take this junk back to the wells board 🤦♂️
To do what? Sit on our as--s looking at the computer screen? There isn’t enough to do for a schedule like that, because the bank isn’t competitive enough to win the amount of business it takes to keep busy.
“Team Culture?” Oh please. None of us would be hanging out with each other if we weren’t being paid to do so in general. This place is like a sorority of spoiled brats. Smile to your face while hiding the kn--e behind the back.
Why do people start a thread like this without stating when it A) will be announced, and B) when it will take effect?
This is a rhetorical question, btw. I'm pretty sure we all know the answer
@a2 not all of us hate our families
I think it's become obvious that you have split factions at the top of the house when it comes to RTO.
I believe there is a group pushing for a full-time RTO across the board. Remember all the town halls 3-4 years ago - from BTM and on down - as we were emerging from the pandemic. I recall a lot of the phrase "we are an IN-THE-OFFICE company" mentioned, insinuating that full-time RTO was inevitable.
However, I think there is an equal or larger faction at the top who (wisely) believe that it would be a terrible mistake. But they probably are only able to hold off the other faction for so long.
has this actually been confirmed or just another d-mb rumor
….and the regionals continue to get stronger with the more talent they pull away from the big nationals.
NOBODY wants this. NOBODY.
I was a guest speaker at a university finance class recently. QA session the whole time, a “ask me anything” about the field I am in. This is a major university, one we recruit from. Not a single soon-to-be graduate wants a pre-covid work schedule. Further, when asked my advice on career, I cautioned them to not be attracted to just the name and size. MANY in my field of expertise are much smaller, far more personable, and pay just as much if not more.
Stop crying.. it was never forever.
I’ve been working exclusively from home for over 5 years now. This is a big change for some of us.
@cs there WERE layoffs this week across the board. The bigger one is coming
@ck these people thrive off getting everyone stressed out that's why every couple months they'll say a random date and that layoffs are coming but never what area or how they heard it. It's all a bunch of bologna
How do you know this? Posts like this cause a lot of stress.
Talk to your team and manager. If everyone agrees, than work the 4 days you have to go into the office and on the 5th day when everyone can work from home (if everyone agrees that Friday will be the day the team works from home), than stay online showing in MS teams you are "available/online" and actual not do any work_work. Instead use that time to learn some skills that are provided by the companies learning center or on the internet. There are lots of AI courses online and everyone needs to learn AI (for your next job).
That will be interesting as we have recently closed buildings and condensed down to one site which does not have enough room/seats to support a 4 day per week in office schedule. The only way to make that happen would be massive layoffs.
Back to the roots
Oh, no! You'll have to act like a grown up for once!
