Family of Managers Getting A Role!!!?

How do we hold management accountable for transparency on how their sons and daughters kept and job (even their spouses) while many others were laid off. Find it hard to believe that all the family members were just as good employees! Lack of transparency will continue to haunt the organization for the years to come

Let’s not forget about the execs’ kids who become well paid interns. BRES got stuck with MN’s daughter years ago. I will not comment further. Let’s just say that it was not an obvious choice for the role.

@n9 what’s with the downvotes?
You think the daughter of the former GOM VP / ABU MD has any background in AI at all? Saw her name come up in the IT announcements and puked when I was told by my rep that I had no shot at that role because I didn’t have the skills required.

Retired executives still have power over selection reps. They made sure their kids were selected for jobs they were definitely not qualified for.

For a company that makes such a big deal about avoiding even the slightest wiff of conflict of interest, the incestuous postings of spouses, dependents, relatives, etc is amazing. I don’t get whether it’s hypocrisy or just painful blindness. Either way, hard to see how it lets us win in any environment.

There’s a certain ‘Stacey’. Dad is legacy Chevron. She’s being sued by an employee for harassment and discrimination. She got a promotion.

If you won’t even name them on an anonymous forum, how the f do you expect anyone to call them out in person?

Post their names here so we can send it up to HR.

This company is infested with nepotism like no other on earth and in some cases the nepotism is a direct conflict and barrier to achieving results. Incredible.
