Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

A little lite reading for the evening . . . AT&T's Double Standard: Executives Face an SEC Complaint While Whistleblowers Face Retaliation and T

When the SEC files a complaint against executives and a company agrees to pay a record penalty, most people expect accountability. When employees raise concerns about company culture, leadership decisions, or practices they believe deserve scrutiny, they often expect their voices to be heard. What happens when those expectations collide? The public record provides some interesting answers.

@dq You make your feelings abundantly clear about Jayson. Where do you stand on the hypocritical and corrupt leaders of the business? Do I hear crickets?

I guess you are completely fine with them.

BTW… glad that Jayson’s writing style lives rent free in your head.

“I am forever grateful for the efforts of Mr. Jayson Gnall. He exposed the blatant hypocrisy of our current leadership, as well as their corrupt actions. Jason took one for the team, for that he deserves our thanks”

Honestly, put a sock in it Jayson.

This isn’t a post about Gnall violating the social media policy repeatedly, and then finally getting canned….

No wait, that’s exactly what this is. My bad.

His repetitive manner of writing is in my head now.

@cr “describes most employees”
Gee, I wonder why that is? It couldn’t possibly have ANYTHING to do with how Leadership treats their employees… 😱

@cm "Dude hates ATT"

You just described most of the employees at AT&T.

At least Jayson now has some samples of fiction for his portfolio if he wants to continue writing.

Gnall is a clown...

He think he is helping people, but he is not. This is all about himself, seems he doesn't even care about his family.

Dude hates ATT and instead of getting his act together and finding another job he goes on Social Media to complain..

No one, will ever hire him based on what he has posted. Bye bye

@c9 Exactly right . . . AT&T has taken the stance of collective punishment for what you say in private, and firing you when you have no choice but to go public because the company won't listen to you when you go through the "approved" channels.

@a9 "even called out Stankey directly. He obviously hated the company"

So, he is a reflection of a significant portion (if not a majority) of the employee base. I think it is a good attitude for "leadership" to take -- "let's not only ignore the employee survey, but let's actually publicly admonish the employee base for providing honest feedback, and let's also fire those who are brave enough to speak honestly about how they feel and what is going on at AT&T."

That will create a great culture in any organization.

@a9 called out Stinky, yes the bald deranged narcissist. Yep. The company is a dictatorship, not leadership.

Already scrubbed from LinkedIn it seems. The legal department has been busy. I am surprised he was not fired the morning after the first article. Speaking truth to power has no place at AT&T. Hopefully the kid gets into politics instead. Smart and bold. There are places in society where that is valued. Just not here.

I honestly can’t believe it took so long for him to get canned.

He was constantly violating the social media policy. Literally, constantly.

And I’m no company shill. But man at some point he had to figure this would happen??

The guy that writes all this stuff is a total
Joke. He was fired for id--tically publishing a million different articles disparaging the company and even called out Stankey directly. He obviously hated the company and they made his dreams come true by sending him down the road.

Good riddance
