New CIO is flattening the Technology org with lesser VPs and executives. Also trying to remove duplicate teams.
Can we still rooting for ppl to lose their job on this site? Whether you like them or not there's a person and a family affected. Impossible to be empathetic when AVP and above get gone considering the random nature of the other layoffs. As long as we are at it, Trim the Architects by 1/3. Trim any EVP with less than 50 people.
Many of you probably don't know RB really well but I was under his org for many years. It's unthinkable in our org that he was suddenly sacked, considering that he has gone as far as personally knowing all of us in his org, even to the lowest of the lows like me. He was a great orchestrator and executor, he's a great loss and the new CIO doesn't know it. RB could have made an excellent CIO.
