So you are saying that all the best talent in the industry is concentrated in Sandisk.
Those jobs could have been posted so internal employees could apply too and go through a fair interview process. But no, the positions were created to hire specific people.
You must be benefiary of this “crony hiring” scheme I guess.
With that same measure IT Engineers in Seagate should be able to jump to IT Director in...???? Oh, no one will hire you. Wonder wonder....
If you jumped from being an IT Engineer in Sandisk to an IT Director in Seagate, of course you’d find it better.

There is actually no need for server system administrators nor on-premises IT engineer except desktop support. Digital transformation, google on current technology stacks

Yes, IT has been relegated to the position of “keeping the lights on”. No innovative use of IT. If there is any indication that IT can reduce cost by any means Ravi the Terrible will spring into action.
