If there won't be any layoffs, then why do the level 1 managers keep threatening employees with being laid off????? And management wonders why people keep resigning and nobody will hire into this awful company....
Are layoffs even necessary when so many people are leaving and not being replaced? They could probably do nothing and the workforce would reduce itself by a sizable number just because leadership makes working here so miserable.
Hi folks, excuse me but there were lay offs this past Thursday ( payday Thursday) so as it goes there are always lay offs. Just make the best as you can out of a bad situation, take advantage of any education or training you can get on Anthems dollar so you're always making yourself better for You! And it will help in future job hunting. I'm with you all here been here 39years and can't believe I still haven't been laid off. I'm also waiting but if it doesn't happen maybe I'll wait it out to hit forty next July. Best to you all and hang tough !! This place does suck

My work is just about to get a WHOLE LOT sloppier if stupid FAKE unintelligent leaders don't give us more bodies to carry this outrageous workload!!!
At this point I would welcome a layoff. It’s so miserable working in my area. Our “leaders” if you want to call it that are so focused to total perfection and they won’t stop at anything to get it. I’m tired of being run in the ground, carrying the load of several FTE only for them to tell you that you still need to do more. For what? So you can look good and get even more pay while I get nothing?
After 20 plus years just give me my 6 months severance, let me rest from the traumatic, toxic work environment and find something elsewhere.
There will always be layoffs at this stupid company because every round of "leaders" are temporary and incapable.
