How is this BU?
I'm in brokerage, and received offer to move asset management.
Does it also have constant reorg?

A-s Management. Bunch of donkeys work there.
How does it compare to FI?
@cp that seems like a VP level role typically, is it dev ops? I think it could be good! I have had really great interactions with a lot of architecture professionals, but much higher level grade, you’d likely have some great mentorship
@cj i also received a comms for
the role of Director, Architecture
how’s that role under Asset management?
In tech or as an IP?? Entirely depends on the group for either. A lot of resistance from teams to adopt the Spotify model, some completely ignored top down role name changes up until recently. Then they scrap the whole thing. I think most ppl that work in AM tech long term will tell you they have seen this happen many times in many different ways, and for the most part middle management is a really good block from all that re-org stuff. I will say, if you are interested in a tech role there, it’s good experience. A lot of egos of course, but it’s a good learning opportunity. If you are a retail investor on your own coming from a diff BU and enjoy that, definitely consider the trade restriction! That was the biggest bummer lol. I say take it!! Good luck!
And get ready to get clearance for every trade and getting denied
Pay also won’t offset any loss in income due to trading restrictions.
Overall place is toxic and very political.
Picture getting in a time machine and going back 40 years. The bureaucracy is stifling.
Asset Management is a dumpster fire.
