Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

C-suite Pay

Anyone see the disclosures of the C suite pay? Some notes

  1. GK got about $17MM. AC $19MM. Note GK’s pay went up 60%!!!
  2. They were reimbursed about $150k for personal financial planning.
  3. Gunjan was reimbursed $300k for her housing here, commuting back to her home state and personal use of private jet
  4. AC still got $8k of personal home security paid for
  5. Jodi got a THREE MILLION DOLLAR retention bonus

Meanwhile everyone else gets a 3% bump tops, 20% no raises and they actually wonder why trust in the MC is low? Kinda funny actually.

@an And how do you determine your worth? How much whining about going into the office? Trying to work 20 hours for a 40 hour paycheck? Spending hours per day trying to game the system?

Why would JR need a retention bonus? Who is going to hire her?

@mq Same never had LTI and I’m literally laughing at the bonus cause it’s peanuts yet GK gets millions for being a bi---h.

@eg

Every year I have worked here, the LTI turns out to be worth less than it was when it was awarded. USB stock is essentially a meme stock at this point, performing worse than basic utilities over the long term.

@eg Good for you. Been here 20 years and never had LTI. Benefits su-k for most people. I don't even use their health insurance.

@ds don't hate. You are winning because we are living in Trump's America where we are in the middle of a major turn around. The STOCK MARKET remember? Winning BIGLY!!! Any....day...now.

Great. They just laid me off and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to pay rent in a couple months. What a wonderful society we live in…

They are all sick monsters. Collectively us feeling disgust towards them will make them ill. Projecting that energy onto them and watch them crumble. I’m so grossed out.

Anyone else not receive the proxy vote email notice this year? I haven't changed anything with my shares so don't know why I haven't received it.

@cp who else gets reimbursed for housing and travel? They won't even pay for parking passes.

The fact that they can’t pay for their own financial planning might be the most egregious. I mean are you f’n serious?

When it comes time for the proxy vote all you can do is vote against everything including executive compensation. While employees may not have enough shares to block election of Directors and these ridiculous bonuses, maybe we have enough shares collectively to make analysts notice our dissent and get the market talking.

@ab it's in the report. She is one of the NEOs which means, CEO, CFO, next top 3 paid and sometimes (including this one) former CEO. Thus Andy C. and Terry D (the one who died). Jodi is the 2nd highest paid employee after CEO. Wild!!!

Good information. Where did you see Jodi’s? I would like to see comps of the rest of MC.

They all su-k and don't practice what they preach. Basically their goal was to lower bonuses and raises so theirs could be funded over 100%, that's the optics at least

Another thing I find interesting is bonuses were funded less than 100% against the target rate. But they got 105%. What that signals is that the business lines and the corporate level performance were above average. But the way they did compensation cycle for us, you would think we didn't even hit our numbers.

Jodi's compensation total was 10 million. 10 million after treating her division like total garbage.
