@cp If I was him I would have used my sick time before they told me . I don’t think you get paid for those at layoffs?
Yeah, that’s true—legally HR doesn’t have to be involved. Sometimes they just handle the paperwork after everything is finalized. Su-ky timing though, definitely throws people off.
