@ex You get the bonus with the VRP. VRP for some is 2 wks per year serviced. Same as if you are laidoff.

@ev Yes to the cobra but wrong on the bonus. The bonus is included in the enterprise severance plan which you get when laid off
@by if you are laid off, you don’t get the subsidized COBRA or the guaranteed bonus. The rest is up to whether you are qualified for severance.
@cn the FAQs are pretty clear, if you were not invited you are not eligible.
Contact the HR person your hiring mgr worked with.
If not enough accept vrp and they move to layoffs it’s basically the same package isn’t it??
I’d love to be layed off from this awful company. We all just need to avoid getting fired, leadership minions are eager to boost their own bonuses thru costing us all a severance package if they can figure out how to fire us, two longtime coworkers they’ve been targeting gone already since beginning of the year in our department, they’ll find anything to fire any non yes men that make more than the inexperienced they can have in our seats by morning.
@at who do you ask? I approached my management and there was no sense they could just get me one. Can I go straight to HR? Maybe my management just does not know?
You can
If they don't get enough people to take VRP they will start laying off
Me but I'm 40 :(
Too bad we can't just request one if we meet the requirements.
I got one but I do not want it. Not ready to retire yet as we still have a mortgage and kids going to college.
@OP it was already sent out, if you didn’t get notification yesterday then you don’t qualify this round. Maybe in the future or you can hope to get laid off.
Yes I was, but the emails were sent out yesterday and my area was not included it seems. If you didn't get the email, you did not get the offer. I'm hoping they do another round this year. The FAQs alluded that if needed, they might.
