Pay review post appraisal FY25

Is your appraisal done?

Any news on when they would come back with a final rating?

Also what is the latest about pay reviews post appraisal? They said it was a BAU thing last year and they would review annually. But when?

Delivery Managers are poor, they are from the past focused on how they can bring employees down.

They have no sympathy, praise, or motivational skills.

Im in Networks and i have got 2 x 1s and a 2 over the last 3 years. All without busting a gut. Managers are decent dont sh8t over you like ITO delivery managers who dont have clue and are sinking this company fast.

If your in ITO you can dream that 1, even if you goto the moon and back they will find a excuse to not give it, they want to keep all the pay fir the trainee scheme.

Again speak for yourself, maybe you're in networks they do bu---r all, but some of us do the work we're given and do it well and our ratings reflect that, 1, year after year. Doesn't matter the rating the reward's the same, not a lot.

My people Manager says if you’re three you should’ve been fired months ago. He has no threes only twos and the only way to be a one is if you’re a God and there’s no gods at DXC

What's scandalous is that DXC is quite happy to pay people vastly different salaries for performing the same role. The people who earn less burn themselves out trying to show they are worth more. Before finally realising it's never going to change and reverting to the policy of you pay me 20% less. I'm doing 20% less.

I thought the problem was repeatedly get a rating of 1 and still don't get any reward.

I'm not in NE, never been in the military and definitely not shy of complaining how poorly DXC treats staff, and get top rating and no reward, same as everyone else.

@ck+1jpbrtvkn funny you should mention the ex-army lot up in the NE. They really are full of corporate sh1t. Those cringey town halls where they compete to get their tongues up DA’s ar5e. Oh the banter is wonderful to listen too before all the self back-slapping out shine, out perform BS gets spouted out again. Tally-ho Derek, the rest of the UK thinks you’re a clown!

@br+1jpbrtvkn Everyone gets a 2 - funny that! Managers cannot justify your salary on a 1, and cannot explain how they failed and they have under performing staff by giving 3. On the basis it's impossible to get a 1, easy to get a 2, and you'd have to be seriously bad to get a 3. This is why DXC is now staffed by people who don't even try anymore.

A lot of the UK management is bent, ex Army mates, if you dont believe check it out. Nothing to do with How skilled they are or how good they do the job.

If your in with the army or a certain North Eastern funny accent location crowd you get a 1, otherwise forget it.

@br+1jpbrtvkn ah... yeah Kathryn Verity yes she was a real charmer that one quite fond of bullying anyone who made too much "noise" which equated to anyone who asked her for help etc

I knew many people in GSS who she did badly. Exploited and belittled, threatened with PIP. She got mardy if you used a dog for your profile pic but her clique of mates could do anything they wanted.

Had a friend who got threatened with disciplinary by our old manager because she was upset he went over her head to challenge UK leadership
over a promised promotion being rolled back.

They will never issue a 1 because then they'd have to justify why you don't get a raise

A 2 these days is the standard unless your manager is a piece of work like Kathryn Verity the old GSS lead used to be in which case you have to brown nose and work the tongue hard to be seen as a human being

Don't any of you listen to the townhalls or read the emails?
For years they've made it clear that the appraisals have nothing to do with reward, it is no longer "one conversation"
As has always been the case you will get your rating in April- May.
If you are lucky you will get a teeny tiny bonus May- June
New this year is the annual pay review which will happen in October.

All those dates are published and well known, we can get angry about how cr-p things are but no point getting worked up because you thought pay rises were in March when it's actually October

Why don't the same rules apply for the execs whose dates dont change every year, its a 2 class company, one class earns and the aristocrats take it.

You had your rise in December 2024. You will not be getting another one until December 2025, and on all past experience that will be delayed. So realistically you shouldn't expect anything until April 2026.

Mary had all the ratings and the salary increase percentages for every employee in her laptop. When she was fired - she took the data away. Now internal IT - Den g-y is trying to recover the laptop and data.

Increases will be provided once we get the data.
