Check PolicyTech the current severance package shows 2 weeks pay per year of service, maximum of 6 months pay, minimum 4 weeks pay. Not sure if they’ll base the package on this as it’s the Ansys policy.

$300 million cost in layoff package divided by 3000 employees is 100k per employee. Is the layoff package this much?

Synopsys has done an SEC filing today that confirms the 10% layoffs, that it will extend to end of FY2027, and that it will cost them up to $350 million
Is this all classic synopsys or legacy ansys that are getting the email?

@OP it was two skip level manager, and meeting was titled 1:1, and it was early in the morning - I don't know if revealing names and depts are a good idea rn, I don't want to burn bridges away
