Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC Service M---acre in October

Massive WFR + Contracters out + no POs issued = Customer Service M—acre

Best is: almost no one left to explain to customers

Better to leave DXC the company does not have any growth plan. First thing is to kick the team who are there more then 10 years . All these old timers hold and save each other to sustain and enjoy the company so Mike should kick all senior guys with Level -3 and higher . Performance of those guys are joke and fake which I personally seen

: @1yae+16XlTJBZ - Abandon ship if you've got another job lined up or do min as possible or zip collect the pay cheques do any training around / online and wait for the eventual WFR programme and then redundancy.

DXC's companies being sold, contracts ending and layoffs. Doesn't sound good for the ones looking in. Do you abandon ship or ride the storm out and perhaps wait for a pink slip and drown.

For me it looks more like the "put lipstick on the pig" game. Mike L. tried at least two times to sell Delivery or the whole company ... and failed, which was probably the main reason he was forced to leave.

Now Mike S. is asked to do it. First two parts are already sold.
Workplace and Horizontal BPS they promised to make a final decission before the next earnings call which will be early November. It might be the plans include more than Workplace and BPS ... much more ...

I don't think so. It was a golden opportunity to get rid of one of the last Lawrie chaps without paying a compensation package. The financial numbers were massively poor the last FY. And there were rumors since Sal took over to sacrificy Paul on bad numbers.

Does this have anything to do with the current CFO leaving at the end of September?

@cgo
My view is on former NCE region.
Massive WFR in Germany, Switzerland, ... till end of September. Approx. 30% are let go.
Also 800 temp staff out with 1st October.
Currently in the (major) accounts I know there is a PO stop.

Restructuring:
As you might have experienced in the past, not every plan was executed, but ... . Currently there is a plan to seperate the customer contracts to different DXC companies (depending on value, strategy), there is a plan to switch P&L from industrie to region, there are still separate companies (DXC, Entserv, ...) per country, ... ... ... .

This is what happens when you make the workers redundant......PO's do not get raised....contractors leave....business fails and customer goes elsewhere! Well done Management with no idea of what's going on!

That's a hell of an original post .... no specifics.
As if us older US based employees don't worry enough about everything going on already.
I have to wonder how truthful this is because neither I nor a bunch of my co-workers have heard any such rumors so far.
Please - if you have any more details share them with all of us.

Oh! Customers will love that.
In case customers leaving, what might be the surprising reaction of the management?
