I thought I wouldn’t get a merit increase or bonus because of all the talk about savings. But I got both. They were both less than last year’s but I was still grateful to even get either of them at all.

@OP I did ok. There were years when the people that worked for me made more money than me. I’m was on call, traveled and worked many extra hours. Plus, my butt was on the line always. And the pitiful ducats they toss your way are eaten up in high healthcare costs and taxes. One of the reasons I left. Don’t need the aggravation any more. There is life outside of Cigna.

Shouldn’t our merit/bonus have been higher with teammates vrp/layed off/fired/resigned?

Seems our teams merit and bonuses were average to low, so where did all the extra allotted money go? Or did they still give to vrp and layed off?

I did very well.

Almost 3% merit (got more than what was funded)

107% bonus payout
