Overall, not a bad quarter at all! So it was definitely justified that you got a raise that didn’t even keep pace with inflation and the execs got like 15-20% extra. Keep working hard digging your own grave folks. That’s the only way this works.

I just returned from my self-care vacation that I funded with my raise. It consisted of a 5 minute drive on my shortened lunch break but he doesn't want to hear how that's a luxury these days.
No money for raises, bonuses and severance. They need to save up for lawsuits.

Love the cr-p about expense management while we’re hosting client events at the masters, ski trips in Idaho, etc.
At Bank of America - there are the Wall Street investment bankers, and then there is everyone else who only exist because of regulations. The IB’s run this place exclusively.
Makes me sick - no pay raise for years. Record profits and can’t pay their people. I am legit living like a pauper while the team exec brags about “self care”, “travel” and other non essential items. I’m over here looking like a homeless person.
These people have zero self awareness of what is actually going on day-to-day with most of their employees. They expect you to do the work of 4 to 5 people since they don’t want to hire anybody while they are out here making millions a year on their salary alone, but now are also getting 20% raises and a $9 million bonus. Meanwhile, we are lucky if we even see 2%. Most of us are living paycheck to paycheck. They also keep pushing copilot like it’s some great tool (it absolutely su-ks!) when all they are really hoping for is for us to use it and help train it as our future replacements.

I know I love hearing that we made 8.6 billion in net income and that we’re up 17% YoY but I know none of us has been seeing any of this in our paychecks or bonuses meanwhile the empty suits are living, large like usual
