Did anyone who left company last year receive a prorated bonus check by mail?
Just checking if my management is just petty or if there was a new policy in place sc--wing people over yet again.

I doubt that Ford will send anything, i was let go in May 2025 , and I didnt get anything. My department is probably in India now. Do you know what happened to Shareef from Intel/ Israel ? He was gone 2 weeks before SW lay offs.
@OP received mine in the mail this week.
@j1 There isn't, HR won't talk to you about it, neither will payroll. They all just say you need to your prior people leader who then passes the buck with a generic response. Very slimy and deceitful. In other words, the "Ford Way". The company is a shell of what it once was.
What is the HR email to talk to about this ?
@hz Hi there. There is specific language in some of the Ford documents, that no payment is done for anyone leaning (voluntary or not). The only exceptions are those that retired that year.
Is this wage theft? I’m sure CA or NY impacted former employees might want to discuss.
Company puts people on VSSP, layoff or PEP then changes bonus payout even though it is part of the salary package…
Retirees that I have talked to got bonus checks by mail instead of direct deposit.
Apparently LL2 and LL3 levels decided no payment for those that left in many parts of the company. Same decision even if you left in November or December and had good or better rankings all year. The reason you left was not considered.
I was paid even though I left in the Summer (voluntarily). I definitely needed the payment. Our leadership in much of the company is bereft of morals. A few remain worthy of your trust, but very few I expect.
I just received confirmation from my former colleagues. Whoever did not get a direct deposit will not get a bonus. This includes everyone who left voluntarily or not.
Was let go in May 2025 as part of a RIF, and my severance agreement stated I “could” be eligible for a pro-rated bonus for the year. Actual result: no direct deposit or check in the mail.
@dr how did you get a direct deposit? I was not given an option. My last paycheck was also mailed. I had direct deposit before.
@dr that would indicate my former leadership team is an a-s. I left voluntarily with an ok mid year performance rating. No direct deposit for me.
So I believe it was handled differently depending on team.
@ds Wow, I guess you know...based on what, nothing. I guess I must have been in a state of delusion as I've been going through this personally and had this process explained to me. But hey, you know better I guess

Pure fiction. Troll post...
Retiree here. Received direct deposit on March 20 for partial year, several other folks I keep in contact with received theirs as well. If elections were made to send to 401K, check that balance. My experience, there may be a lag before it shows up, I updated all of my preferences to cash well before leaving to avoid surprises. I received exactly what I expected.
Suggest contacting your former LL6, LL5 or make contact with spayroll@ford.com and to not get lost in troll replies...if you were eligible there is an answer in-house.
@cn Do you think that all the people being separated is due to performance issues? Being pension eligible &/or 50+ and you are automatically on their hit list.
That should be made public to media this is just ugly
I am more interested in those that retired. Did they really sc--w over retirees even if performance was not an issue before they left?
@cf They straight up just tell the people they need to talk to your old people leader. HR, People Svc, Payroll, etc just push you off......you can't get anybody to speak about it with you. I imagine they think they are slick because in order to get your severance, you have to sign a document you'll never sue Ford.
That’s a straight up cheating, bonus is part of salary package, they can’t just zero it out, that’s up for a lawsuit
@OP Why ask? DUH!
I got my bonus paycheck directly to my bank account. Likely, I got 75% score for personal performance. This paycheck was last reason that I wished Ford well in last year.
They have instituted a new policy where they are not giving bonuses to released employees. Basically these managers note you provided no value so they can rank you lower, then they do the pro-ration so the sum falls further. Then to put the cherry on the top, they say the sum falls below some "minimum" amount, so you then get nothing. So they then keep all the money for themselves. Yep, this is what Ford has become because of the type of people they now have in control. No check is in the mail.
I got strawberry and mango this month, they’re very good preserves.
Depends on the score given. Bonus was significantly reduced for those that received low scores.
@aa I am expecting the same. Story of my (Ford) life.
I've received nothing yet. Assuming I've been sc--wed over again.
