It is imperative those self serving managers who have sat on their hands for years eschewing obvious progress be denied a fat, juicy EOI. Their names are well known and they should not be rewarded for their inaction and lack of courage.
All expats coming back to ABU. Hot Press
@cg+1jm6yyyq0 apparently it's being re-done to include the change from global so some of the leaders that were initially making the decisions on their org structure will be impacted also.
@c8. Not the same situation....they needed some people there to take care of the madness.
@ce+1jm6yyyq0 I don’t know if they’ll look at it that way, but they sure should. In my career, I’ve been to seven Chevron locations, and I spent a good bit of time in ABU recently. No doubt about it, it’s the Mecca of the most arrogant, incapable, and self-serving leaders I’ve ever seen.
Well that would be the normal approach. But given they have been planning to reorganise since early last year, you’d think they would already know…
I heard they’re looking into talent cards and capabilities. This time, they’re checking for outliers like PSG levels versus actual skills (education/outside experience). They are also looking to see who has declared their conflict of interest properly as apparently there is a lot of shady deals. Word is ABU’s got the most unskilled managers in the whole company...which explains the additional nepotism on top of the regular Chevron base
When you take the US expats back from the ABU…..
When are the ABU expats in the US heading back??
Lean??? (Laugh) guy has no idea about what he is talking about. Easy 10% can go, add engine capabilities then 20+%
Australian mates are losing jobs and being replaced by Indian mates, mate
Busy planning these redundos so we hit our DEI quota!
ABU was already pretty lean so no issues.
Crickets
impacted but lesser than the rest of the company
LNG saving ABU for now
