@vj There are good people in every site and layoffs are happening all over. The Jacksonville site has long had its purpose and has been dwindling for quite a few years. The most important areas went to Tampa, everyone knows that. The leftovers were strongholds, mainly by hard headed management whose livelihood depends on their departments, those same departments could be placed elsewhere. All the technology there is staffed by India nationals in the first half of building A segregated from the rest and the tech jobs are slowly moving away. Facts are facts like it or not. At some point, you and the rest will be affected. Nobody is safe in this environment.
Hope that bi--h in financial crimes gets let go from jax site
@s4 f*ck you man. There are lots of good people in Jax. And it used to be the COE for technology and still a major Technology site.
I was hoping to transfer there ...sigh
About time. Jacksonville office is worthless and needs to be closed. Hard to hear but it’s reality. The sooner the better.
@cd ridding of AML teams soon. FIU/ GITF
They're knocking KYC aml groups out too, June will be the next round so I hear
@cj yup. Everyone slowly getting laid off til that 50 year contract is up
During Covid Florence KY downsized from 2 buildings to 1 and isn’t a strategic site for most groups anymore.
Does anybody know anything about the Wilmington, DE office?
What is the worst that can happen? Not enough space and people having to WFH? The workspace will go from sub-optimal to terrible, but nothing that other offices don't already suffer.
