Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

safety updates???

Been quiet. Update on Colorado, Africa and Ames? Where next? Other safety incidents we’re not being told about?

Hard to focus, MN, when stuff is falling apart around us. Antipathy is vengeful.

So much for that accountability story they were preaching earlier this year. Just as I thought, "do as I say not as I do".

I used to be a leading champion of process safety within Chevron until I got left standing during this latest event. Now I am gone. Best of luck to all of you who are continuing on the fiasco.

Whoa there, MN is just a lowly VC. If you want that kind of hard-hitting info, you’re going to need to talk to the peons. MN is only responsible to make sure lots and lots of money is made by cutting staff. Everyone knows that’s how you grow your business.

Colorado is all over the local news. Numerous safety violations by Chevron. They may be heavily fined. Chevron, as always, blames a 3rd party contractor for Chevron's stupidity. No one in Chevron owning their performance for their total disregard for the environment, safety, or well control.
