Because we the employees in PTC and ITC are not lazy or entitled. We come here to learn from our entitled coworkers as to what not to do.

@cd @c7 If you paid attention to what she meant, not the the words she said, half the meeting was fluffing up ITC. “Gotta do layoffs for reasons, gotta be cheaper, gotta deliver faster, ITC is awesome because we can hire a bunch of people easily”
‘Need to be cheaper’ + ‘Can hire easily’ = we’re offshoring you dummies (and I plan to find my next job before this all crashes and burns worse than it already is)

From reading these posts you all attended a different meeting and heard what you wanted. Not a big fan but she legit didn’t say any of this stuff you all are putting out there.
All of the above posts are totally incorrect?? She did not say anything about India having better code quality than the US, and especially didn't say that there will be layoffs in 3-6 months y'all are TRIPPING. She said she doesn't know of any more layoffs happening at all from her end, but that we are a publicly traded company so if we aren't performing then layoffs will obviously happen which like yes?? Go start your own company if you don't want to have even a sliver of chance of being laid off? The fact that those posts got so many upvotes is crazy, like y'all didn't even attend the meeting....
Oh good, barely a whisper from her forever and now it's full on cultivating fear and "be glad you have a job" style messaging. Along with a healthy dose of insults because "I'm wealthy and don't have to care about anything like you peasants."
What is the expected positive outcome and/or increased work production for Nike from that style of management?
Feels like she is trying to autorif people and not have to bother with the accounting $$ of severance packages with this.

She also said there might be more layoffs in 3 to 6 months, she doesn't know for sure. She said "it's a public company".
The general vibe was "This is how it is, get used to it and stop complaining"

The real answer, of course, is that it is cheaper. Leadership has no clue what "high quality code" even is. Same sh-t as always.
She said India off shoring is higher quality code and expertise than what they can have in America.
