There is just this one little thing, the state of NJ says that until there is a vaccine or proven therapeutic treatment, work that can be done, should be done from home.
MP has been successfully working from home for months, showing that their work can be done from home. Specifically "Precautions that apply across all stages include: Work that can be done from home should continue to be done from home." and for Stage 3: "Phased-in businesses include:
More work activities, including in-person meetings (WHICH EXCUSE, ME THE VIDEO SEEMS TO SAY WON"T BE ALLOWED ANYWAY), are allowed at physical locations only if they can adhere to safeguarding guidelines and modifications. For example, work activities to be phased-in over the course of Stage 3 may include expanded dining, CRITICAL (emphasis is mine) in-office work, limited entertainment, expanded personal care, and bars with limited capacity. All workers who can work from home continue to work from home."

If they've been doing OK WFH since March, then how is the work suddenly "critical" to be done in the office?
I would fight that if I were them, to the maximum. Of course, this demon company would try but NJ is still pretty PO'd at them for leaving the state after getting a massive tax cut and then leaving "PMT HQ" and a hundred (dozen?) people there as Check the Box for having part of HQ in New Jersey to keep some or all (not sure) of that break.
So yeah...if it were me, I would fight that hard. My bet is that those who push back will circumvent it, if they even do it. They would know there is a good chance they would lose.
