@ce3 I was absolutely stunned when my IT guy down the hall was let go. Then I saw his entire team in Houston was let go. Even the person with clearance who can handle the stuff at Rosharon... The short-sightedness is truly astounding... But then they laid me off as well, a bit back, so nothing surprises me these days.

Seeing manufacturing sites with 2-3 week outages on production machines already. Depending on the product line, could be a $100k+ a day at the two sites I've seen. One warehouse was having workers driving 30 plus minutes one way to print pick orders and shipping labels to process.

Xerox printers are off lease and 2x monthly cost, HP replacements are about to run out of warehouse storage that will charge and nobody to set them up. Going to be interesting seeing $500+ a month in printer cost added when some facilities are pushing 30+ printers.

So it seems it was not that hard to run the company without those IT guys...

This is slowly breaking down into a train wreck as nobody knows how to do anything at the service desk.

@cd it is not for sale, they would be far more likely to divest in sand screens than valves

@cc valve business is doing gang busters in the US but there are significant headwinds with tariffs that will affect the ability to compete in the marketplace.
