Upcoming layoff of payroll on July 1st - 10% company wide cuts.

If you are laid off how is severance determined and are you offered a pro rated bonus?

Midwest bargained for employee. Our severance tops out at 88 weeks pay once you hit 30 years. Take 4 years off for every year under 30. Hope that helps.

@ch I thought it was 1 month for every level? 1, 2, 3, or 4 months now that 2026 rolled around. VP and up have a different structure as well.

“As someone that was impacted by this exactly 1 year ago today,”

How often do you check these boards? This is sad.

As someone that was impacted by this exactly 1 year ago today, I can confirm that severance is based upon years' service and the bonus is prorated and paid out the following March.

Yes, you should receive a prorated bonus when that time rolls around next year.
