I am not sure of how many will be impacted but June 25th is the date for June layoffs. I hate this for anyone impacted, but brace yourselves and just know if this is not your moment to be affected, give grace to those who were and ready your personal finances.

@jv when you got a Job.... Many are not for a few months n tax will be due no matter what. It's not a good idea to not withhold tax from paycheck
June makes sense for HouseCalls because end of second quarter. Numbers to sustain Q3 should be known and we only hear of pension plans dropping from the patients. They are adding virtual providers but you can tell not enough work to go around. Anyone have any idea if the plan is to keep only travel providers this also seems like it makes sense although they seem like they would be WAY more expensive (car, flight, travel pay etc) IMHO.
No, then when you get a job, you pay extra withholding to make up for it. Free up the money until you find a job, which by the way only took me 3 weeks because I watched this blog and knew the layoff was coming!
@cb ehen is may payoff suppise to happen?
@c0 stupid comment. And then what. Pay penalty for underpay estimated taxes?
@jk Any ESPP contributions should be "refunded" along with severance payment.
So what happens to your ESPP contributions after the RIF ?
401k contributions won't be deducted from severance regardless.
@av I wouldn't rule out the may date, it's still happening....
@b6 That's what I did.
And put exempt for your taxes, that will free up extra money.
If you have over 100k in Deferred Comp that makes you rather untouchable.
Once you get the RIF notice stop your 401K contributions if you don't want deductions from your severance check. You may need those addtional funds to pay bills.
@OP I’d rather it be June than the May 28th date that was floating around.
