@2kz 100% agree. I've told coworkers that the guy is a cross between politician and sleezy used car salesman. Tells you a lot about where PP mindset is if she thinks the doofus was a good hire.
Chubak is a self-marketing machine. If you watch any of his self aggrandizing videos, it’s so painfully obvious that he is running a political campaign versus a business.
His ego is totally antithetical to the culture of EJ and what the firm stands for. He’s always positioning himself as the “smartest” guy in the room, will stab others in the back at the drop of a hat, and is a classic narcissist.
This guy was a joke at Citi - who at least were smart enough to see who he really was and take him off the succession list.
If he doesn’t get the MP (god willing), he’ll be gone in a heartbeat to a CEO role at some private equity backed cesspool (where he belongs).
If they do make him MP - lights out.
The live goose cam provides more value to the firm than Chubak. I wish I were joking.

He will never move to STL or Tempe either. So, if he is the chosen one to take over for PP, you can assume there will be either a new home office created in NYC, or the company will go public and or merge out with someone in NYC to justify him staying close to his wall street tu-ds.
