Any time you get a call (or meeting invite) from HR, it's bad news.

Left standing - and kind of happy due to weak ineffective manager and toxic coworker.

Training up ENGINE? Motivation is kinda shot. I know I’ll still put forth effort because that’s who I am but…gah.
Formal meetings mean being left standing.
I retained my job. No meeting invite or HR presence on the call. Just an informal Teams message asking if I had a few minutes for a call from the job owner. I suspect that formal invites will be a leading indicator of bad news.
My call is at 11:30 this morning.
Just got the call - left standing. It was my selection rep and a HR manager.
"I didn’t even know we had HR left to come to meetings. Will they be calling in from Buenos Aires to answer your questions"
Yes, so be prepared to have a translator.
