Around 15% of the entire labour force is being made redundant. Those who joined two to four years ago are particularly affected, with no replacements being offered, and every department is impacted. The good news is that they are being slightly more generous in negotiations over the redundancy package.

Does anyone know which countries and departments are affected?
If your job can be done by AI, then it is time to move on. If you have a client facing role that is generally less likely, according to McKinsey.
Any update for Switzerland ?
@n3 that's why I was asking, thanks for replying
I did not know there was anyone to lay off in Europe at this point.
@a7 15% is oddly specific and sounds low to me but this post is not about old news, this is about 2026.
Ummmm, give some more details as this look like an exageration or might be correct in a very limited context. Europe has been axed alteady and extensively.
@c9
double digit layoffs are massive. If the company lost 10%, or more, of its revenue there would be blood in the streets.
15% is not massive! What markets/countries are affected?
@a7 end of 2025 and still more redundancy in January 2026
Layoffs across continents. Rao must be so proud of himself.
Are you talking about the redundancies that were already processed in 2024 and 2025, or about 15% of the current European workforce?
