Layoffs are not going to come after so many people voluntarily leaving. It is good as it won’t affect people in bad way. It is better to go find a job that pays a bit less instead of getting a layoff.
If they offered, 5K pay cut for working from home 100% remote. I would totally take it. Why burn gas or waste time. It will save me time and save company money. I hope they consider that option
5k x4000 employees = 20million in savings/year. In 10 years, 200 million savings.

That's my only real motivation is not to be hassled, that and the fear of losing my job. But you know, Bob, that will only make someone work just hard enough not to get fired.

Just got let go today after an ironically interview with an internal group I have never heard of before but if you have ever seen the movie office space where they are asking "what is it you do here exactly?" it was almost spot on the nose! So be aware if you get pulled into a "confidential meeting" something coming down on you no matter what is said! Speaking as a corporate employee who was at Service Desk.
I have not looked and been lazy but it seems like I might have to.
Layoffs are coming. Don't kid yourself. They are not done restructuring the Org.
I expect many layoffs in Corporate within the next month.
