I recall the person who announced the end of the year layoffs from last year got the date 100% correct. They had also mentioned layoffs for next week (if im not mistaken). Is this plausible, any knowledge or input on this is helpful. I imagine if someone knew of one it would have already been posted.

@k5 go to HR and ask them to add you to any future lists, your manager may think you’re just blowing hot air or may want to keep you to save the hassle of reassigning your responsibilities.
@ec not sure what I need to do but I really want to be on the layoff list. I have told my manager to put my name in so that someone else who wants to be here or are nervous about losing their job can remain employed. I will even train them for a few weeks. Otherwise I'm pretty sure I'll be retiring with a 2 week notice.
Glad TechDev is safe from layoffs. We are to small to be noticed.

I got out 2nd week of December. Got paid all my banked pto and start my new gig next week outside the fintech world. My personal advice and take it or leave it. Your skills are transferable outside the fintech world. Fintechs are cannibalistic at this point. The vertical is a complete cluster. That's why I got out. Is my new company a powerhouse dominating the market? Nope. But it's debt free and been around for 30 years. It is stable with conservative but consistent growth. What I'm saying is look outside the box. You all are worth it m
