Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

What is your opinion?

This site seems to be a colorful mix of teammates. With that, what do you dislike most about this bank? On the other side of the coin what keeps you coming back each day? Will RTO push you to leave?

A paycheck keeps me coming back to work each day. Nothing more, nothing less.

@c9 Agreed. I only talk to management if it's an absolute necessity. They're beyond clueless.

RTO in and of itself won't push me to leave. It's the terrible manahers they keep promoting to positions they don't deserve who don't make an effort to learn the departments they want to manage.

It's to the point where I don't talk to them like they have the authority they do have. And I think they know I don't respect them so communications are at the base level of "need to" basis. But I suppose that's corporate America and the culture Truist wants to promote.

Unless they compromise and atleast scale it back to hybrid , then yes it will push me to leave . I was hired full time remote post Covid, I grind 60 hour weeks from home on my computer working and was fine with it, but if they want to add a 3 hour commute to my day and now take away the one perk I valued above money which was to have the ability to be present for my child at a reasonable hour, then I can get a headache somewhere else for more money and at the least work a hybrid schedule. At the end of the day, they don’t care about us, so you need to do what’s best for you and your family .

I'm sure most people will be on the first thing smoking after a month of Atlanta traffic.
