My Voice Survey - What a Joke

I just went ahead and lied my way through the annual survey. What a complete joke, sending that out now after everything that they have done to the staff. I would love to have told the truth, how I really feel about the place, but let's be honest - it's not anonymous, and if you want to hang on a little longer, you had better tell them what they want to hear.

been responding to these and submitting for a long, long time. Bluntly, honestly and critical on those things I feel need to be said. Still here but rarely if ever do I remember anything of any substance changing. Its required by HR to send it, its not required that any action be taken it appears...

We have a nice suggestion box at the office and it is the paper shredder with a "suggestion box" label on it. Old joke, but still gold.

@c9 Trump hates that and Larry is friends with Trump, so not shocking that DEI was thrown out the door now that he is the boss.

@bt I fully agree. These matter to your lob and individual manager and upline. They review them closely and push forward what they can. We have gotten extra holidays in US as a result. Increased personalngrowthbtime and zoom free fridays just to name a few.

As the above, I tell the truth and explain why I give the results. I know no one will listen and do something, but it's a great way to let go and get back to your life. Such a shame as we could be so much better.

Anyone else notice that DEI is not a thing this year? Funny how that fizzled out. Very sad

I will not be filling it in this year.

Each year recognition and reward are raised as issues and each year the response is "we are committed to your development".

2 focals in 7 years represents a significant drop in income.

They are 100% reviewed and your managers scores matter. Maybe different by org but they do mask who you are.

You might think nothing happens from them because all the feedback is either a tool that can’t be changed or everyone wants more kudos and money. Hint: those that complain about not enough kudos and money aren’t in the top 20% or so. Maybe reflect and do better then you’ll get it.

Nobody read the survey results, it would be a wasting time. My teammate each time put low rating and comment and nothing happened to him and also nothing changed regarding these complaints. They just send to to tell loud - your voice is important. It’s similar situations as they organized many webinars regarding mental health - so in theory they care, but in practice the work environment, poor managment style of work, day by day work faster and faster… It was impossible to stay with a good mental condtion in a longterm.

I’ve criticised them heavily year after year and I’m still here. It doesn’t matter if it’s really anonymous or not. They just want to be seen to care about your opinion, but they actually don’t.
