Fair point, I just don’t think chevron will be around in 5 years… Exxon will have to figure that out
Idk why we even entered the DJ, it’s drilled up in under 10 years anyway.
Headquarters should have moved to Denver instead.
@e8+1jngv38xg. It was tongue and cheek. Given the go-forward activity cadence in RBU, it really doesn't make sense for it to exist as a standalone BU.
Ship the team up to Houston and eventually roll them into your broader L48 unconventional architecture. I would be remiss to leave Denver, but that's the nature of the industry. Good things are never permanent.
What Happened?!
We run 20 rigs from 12 hours away. Not much different from 20 hours away
@c9+1jngv38xg Agreed. No way they can run 10 Rockies rigs from Houston.
Most would sooner be a greeter at a Colorado Walmart than move to Houston
@c1 hahaha very few from RBU will move to Houston. Good luck keeping that train rolling!
You’re going to love all the outdoors activities around Houston! (There aren’t any)
Who is actually left in Midland?
MCBU townhall just happened in Houston. Ryder is on his way to Midland to tell you all unless your job is in the field youre moving to Houston.
At least the sound and screen share functionality worked flawlessly…
@a5 they don't think all those people will relocate. They expect there will be a large chunk of people AEOI or EOI in RBU and will be able to reduce headcount that way.
Have fun once this new org is stud up. If they think all these people are relocating for this company I’ve got a bridge to sell them.
You go to Houston! You go to Houston! Everyone goes to Houston! What a sh-t show
