I'm finding it disruptive when I'm pulled into unscheduled calls, especially when I'm already engaged in an important meeting. A quick heads-up beforehand would be greatly appreciated, as it allows folks to manage my time and commitments more effectively. This is ridiculious and unprofessional

@cd I agree - try calling someone in Careless - never answer and if you email - be prepared to wait. I don't want to hear that "other companies do this" - its freaking business manners.
Just decline them due to a conflict. If they can't respect your time you don't' have to respect theirs.

Yes! This happens everyday…no idea why I’m attending or the backstory of the call and 99.9% I did not need to be included. The meetings are ridiculous at Elevance and NEVER get anywhere.
