Dan need to ask responsibility of AD/ Director and Sr Directors

Dan should get a write up from ADs / Directors and Sr. Directors about what’s their roles and responsibilities.
What’s their output other than creating sheets and presentations?
Before bringing AI, get rid of redundant managers who are not doing anything .. it’s laughable to have AD with 1 and 2 people reporting to them..

@OP It’s delusional to think that VZ management are looking out for the greater good of the employees and the company. Anyone laboring under that delusion needs a reality check. Every AD, SD, ED, AVP, VP, SVP, I ever worked with was laser focused on their own financial gain and career advancement. They were sharks in disguise!

They say things that sound good like we need to be more efficient, we have to delight the customers, etc… but they only mean this insofar as it serves their own goals and many times they don’t mean it at all. They were all first rate BS’ers!

Dan’s goal is to remain CEO long enough to get his $50+ million payday. He doesn’t care if the work environment becomes more toxic for the employees. He’s not here to improve accountability or fairness or efficiency. He’s here to increase the stock price or at least stop it from declining. In order to do that he needs a believable story to tell Wall Street and he settled on cutting costs through layoffs and AI. AI isn’t cheap and the math may not work out in the end but it’s a believable story, at least for now.

It is the sad truth and needed, but I'll add VP/SVP to be changed first as they are the source of all problems. Unfortunately all the remaining good AD/DIR/Sr.Dir got diluted by those who got their titles only because they know a connection, those can't do anything useful hence they end up playing politics to ensure their existence damaging the reputation of everybody else.

OP is a genius. I am putting this feedback in every survey I get and I encourage everyone to do the same. This includes the after call surveys sent after Up to Speed, departmental, anything. Let’s get at many people fired from SVP to AD as possible!
