Has anyone received an email about the badge being deactivated before layoffs discussions? Several teammates have received an email stating the badge has been deactivated and when they speak with their leader the leader doesn’t answer any questions.

@c6 yes, but the people who received this message are hybrid. It's unsettling in this layoff climate.
@aa how is it related? Sending messages that badges have been deactivated for 30 or 45 days of inactivity to people who've been actively using their badges on campus is weird.
Badges are deactivated after 30 days of no activity, if you don't go into Marketplace and submit the request to reactivate it then it won't work when you RTO. We have a ton of HOP (home office program) staff who are constantly bi--hing about their badge not working when the last time they came to the campus was 4 months ago!
I was laid off 2 days ago, and I was surprised to be told that I have to return the badge and that HR would send me an envelope in which to return it. Can't they just deactivate it? I'm sure it no longer works at the turnstile.
You can't even use the badge to get free admission to NYC museums anymore, because nowadays, in order to get 'corporate member' free admission, you need to know the special discount code. I printed off all the current discount codes before I left, but the codes change over time.
@aa+1khv97xsh What you said doesn't make sense. Why deactivate badges for RTO? If that was the case it would have happened at other sites too.
It’s related to 3 days RTO at Dallas site. No need to worry about!
Scandalous.
@a4 location is in Irving
Which location? Got an email asking to activate badge in irving.
Mgmt sc--wed up and your team is on the list....just take it as advance notice --- looks like March is going to be huge.
