Not Enough Computer Usage

There's a new list monitoring low computer usage. Told by Tech manager. Just another way to rid employees. Has anyone heard about this?

Oh, big surprise??? This technology’s been on our systems for years. And by the way, they track and review websites, too… only for the last 25 years

I have been on the list for months now. My manager told me he has no idea why I am on it and not to worry about it even though I work 9hr days and occasional weekends. Received an exceed on mid year by the way. Remote worker in a non strat location, so that could be why. Leadership has no clue what they are doing releasing and then trying to rehire workers after they realize they Fd up.

So, which LOBs or groups are analyzing this data and using it? It's unheard of in my area (WIM) unless needed for HR or ER investigations.

You'll never be as efficient as two people in I&P. You wanna know the truth? They couldn't care less how much AFK time you have. They want you gone either way, this is just another excuse in a long line of fake justifications for firing the American workforce. There's no amount of actual efficiency or knob gobbling that is going to save you.

Yes, I heard that calls will be monitored for participation and files for amount of data. Great way to value quantity over quality. So now that guy that talks all the time in meetings and had nothing of value to say will become all of us. When someone asks if anyone has any final comment I will say “Yes- I have to get 15 more minutes of conversation in today so I will recite the Gettysburg address.” And those emails that never end? I’ll be sending 20 a day now. Yipeee!

@bh+1k13qk7wk I see you have outed yourself. You and those around you complaining just don’t get it. And this is exactly why efficiency reductions are happening. They aren’t going to balk at someone spending 15-25% of the time AFK if they are in office. But if they aren’t then the F are they doing? And if they are AFK in office for 50%+ then there is too much bs in that too.

If we can get our work done in 50% of the allotted hours (let’s call them 8) and the F off the rest of the day then a business doesn’t need 8 people, they can cut down to 6 and see how it goes.

That’s all this is. Blame all the idjits who couldn’t stay near a computer and be bothered to respond within a day nevermind in 15 minutes when someone reached out or who joined meetings then mysteriously disappeared when asked a question for creating all this scrutiny.

Because those farks couldn’t be cool now there is a new game to play.

So...now "in personal collaboration" is...bad? That's exactly what I'd ask any cuck manager that asked me why my PC use was down. I can only do one thing at a time, and the CEO himself said it was "essential to the company's success...", so what manager F stick thinks about it seems to have been trumped.

It’s not everyone. A specific group is measuring hours on the computer not clicks.

Yes. They are monitoring mouse clicks.
