@c5 I was given the heave ho in May 2024. It was with a calendar invite for an hour with my skip manager and I knew exactly what it was. I received 8 months severance. At age 57 I retired permanently since I retired from the military in 2006. After almost 40 years I was done.

When i got laid off they sent an email to have people wfh the week of. Worked out for me with nice severance and new job with better pay and brand

If email is the indicator it’s not happening this week. Mine’s been crazy. It’s not predictable by email. It’s more like a crouched tiger waiting to pounce. You won’t see it coming.
