Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

As a frontier employee coming in...

Holy he'll how has this place kept together? No one knows anything, no direction, no purpose, all leaders are clueless and at the same time thinking they will do the same as last year. Silos out the a**. It has only been a week and I am looking for the exit. This is going to be a 5 year minimum turnaround and it will be a bloodbath and stress factory for anyone who stays. God bless you verizon folks, it can be so much better elsewhere.

You guys will be FFRON forever. Former frontier. Never officially Verizon. I work for FGTE even tho we have been Verizon over 23 years.

As a other Frontier person joining it really does slap you across the face: no joined up thinking, no care for the customer, no clear objectives, deep silos, a toxic culture and vapid leadership. Jeeeeez what a mess. No wonder Frontier was getting twice the results for half the cost!

Frontier is a one trick pony. Entire Company converted cooper to fiber.. loaded up on debt and 30% penetration on total passing.

The bar is so low when compared to Vz Strayer U. Direcrors/VPs.

@OP then I strongly suggest anyone who dosen't want to work for Verizon be on your way. Trust me Verizon will be ok and will survive and thrive. If you cant be part of the solution then you are free to leave.

As you well know that the job market is very difficult thus to find another full-time gig??

And your benefits now with Verizon must be much more enriched so to find another employer with great benefits is not so easy!!

Compare the Verizon sponsored 401k to Frontier and any other future prospective employer???
