Approx 15% company being laid off

We are losing some great employees on 11/13. I hope they find something better. I don't expect anything in terms of raises or bonus for the rest of us next year, just counting down the days until the next big layoff in Optum.
11/13 is official separation date. Layoff took place 10/30. Optum Insight
@an what department are you?
Thankfully no layoffs on my team yesterday. We did have layoffs last Friday.
@c3 employed doctors may be slightly cheaper than contracted ones, but it's much harder to regulate up and down. I would be surprised that we don't go all contracted like we do with off-shore strategy.
@OP SH stated in an interview he will get rid of thousands of doctors to increase profits. As of now they are contracted with 80000 and employ 10000. They will be getting rid of the contracted physicians to shrink the network.
What is this ranking? Can someone explain. Who stays..top 2? Who goes ..bottom2???
@an what if your team only has two people on it
@an we were requested to rank our team also within OT and then were realigned to different managers soon after
In my group I was told complete AI Dojo with a high score (onshore) or you will get RIFd. It’s was also said even with passing/high score no guarantee of staying off RIF list in 2026 (onshore).
11/13? I've heard that date. Today (11/3) doesn't follow a Thursday schedule.
@an are you a new manager? This happens every year at exactly this time
@af Architecture
I just got asked to stack rank my employees today. OT
Fake news until more prof is provided
@ac And where are these said pillars and columns that you have observed?
@OP And where did you get this information from? What dept? IT?
@a8 stop lying
Lot of pillars/columns are gone
Nothing happened today

Layoffs today? Where's the 15% from?
