Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Remote workers

There will be announcements made early 2027 that you will either work in a Truist office or you will be out of a job. They will be calling people individually next year, giving the ultimatum, either move to one of the locations, come into the office daily, or you will be let go.

Maybe they could get rid of the roaches in the Truist Tower in Charlotte and have functioning bathrooms first.

@c3

Oh boy, what a funny little one liner trying to marginalize WFH.

Two items you need to work on (if you can spare some time away from the bootlicking):

-- Avoid tired and trite material. Even the funniest items lose value upon repetition and this particular angle was not that funny when fresh.

-- Grammar and spelling are your friends. A one (run on) sentence post riddled with errors so basic that a 2nd grader wouldn't make them makes you come off like a total buffoon. Corporate simps have a reputation for stupidity and I'm afraid you reinforce that.

Please leave this board until you've addressed these deficits and return only when you can reason and communicate on par with an average 6th grader.

We'll be just fine without you. Trust me.

I see new remote workers being hired quite regularly so this doesn't seem to make sense.

What’s your plan if there’s a day game?

I'm going to work from the Orioles' stadium since that's where Truist is spending their money. And there's ample parking and working bathrooms unlike so many "Truist offices".

OP must be in Charlotte seething every time he sees someone get off the elevator on the Accelerator Lab floor.

Does that apply to ones with medical exceptions as well?
