Hello, does anyone know if a person is still eligible for the reemployment bonus if you start a new job before the term date after a RIF?

The 55 thing is actually 59 and is a Fidelity rule I believe. At least I think I saw that in my paperwork. or like 59 and 1/2 or something crazy. Check the Fidelity paperwork for that one.

I agree your question should be answered by HR but my best guess is if you are re-employed by Elevance you get nothing special except your seniority and PTO/sick time back.

If you are employed by anyone else you will get 50% of what is left of your severance as an incentive.

Why did they change it to effective immediately? I was also rifed last year. I had 30 days to mentally process what was going on,apply for jobs internally on my own since the talent and execution team completely ignored everyone and brought it up multiple times to the manager and nothing was done. To answer you question I believe it's just less of a percent you receive in supplemental pay. I would call HR.

On another note does anyone know if anthem has the rule off 55 where you can withdraw from your 401k without the 10 percent penalty if you are let go at 55 or over?

With my last RIF, I had a job offer before my last day. My HR contact said I had to be outside of my final day AND to have filed for the supplemental unemployment. This was 5 years ago though AND I worked the last 30 days so I had the opportunity to ask questions and not be ignored.
