Some departments are being told they are now over staffed. Has anyone hear anything on potential 2025 layoffs?

@c09 it might be immoral but not illegal so you’d be wasting your money to sue.
They do not have to pay you for invested 401k-that’s money THEY would have put in your account.
Does anyone have any information about how to sue AMN for the completely unethical way they handled these layoffs? Not only did I lose my income for an entire year, but also my unvested portion of 401k. All because of an involuntary layoff. They also refused to hire me back and kept denying my applications even though I was highly qualified, meanwhile let my coworkers keep their jobs and paid them more. If you don’t play the office politics and be a total kiss-butt, they will run you out!
What’s the word on upcoming layoffs? If they hold true to the pattern from last year, they’ll be right after the shareholder call. It’s so quiet right now & seeing a lot of senior leader shuffling to other divisions in lateral moves.
They do layoffs whenever the numbers don't look good. The one that hit me was a huge one with no warning, pathetic severance and they cut off insurance the end of the week. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
AMN layoffs are so funny because they have lost so many clients and clinicians due to terrible quality/performance because… you guessed it… cost cutting, offshoring, and layoffs. You know more major clients are going to leave after this inevitable next round of cuts.
Q1 numbers are dismal and Q2 isn't looking any better. Layoffs are definitely around the corner - its just a question of how deep they will cut.
not yall still there
I hope we see a ton of voluntary turnover coming up as people get their performance evolutions back and see the insult of Merritt increases if any at all they're getting. This company is toast. The only thing I'm "all in" on now is finding a higher paying job.
They recently decided to round down performance evaluations. Even a 3.99 rounds down to a 3. So they can pay their employees less. Spineless.
Duck and cover was a consultant with AMN they cut me due to budgets…more turn over ahead
I definitely sense another layoff. Especially after the performative company meeting about being “all in” rather than addressing the ramifications of the last 18 months. Everyone is on edge & doing way too much with little to no results. My department is struggling badly despite doing everything that we can & nothing is working. We are in the hole deep already & it’s only February.
