DJT refuses to release his medical records, even as we see him collapsing mentally and degrading physically. It won’t take long for JD Vance to invoke the 25th amendment

"And California has a lot of good, common sense people that don't all believe in rainbows financed by other people's money."

So does North Korea, so what.
At least in CA the people have the option of leaving.

"As has been assessed by those wiser than us, that will take some pain, and this is not even the tip of the iceberg, since so many administrations have been reluctant to address it."

If you think trump, biden, or any of the other corrupt losers in congress that engage in insider trading are wiser than you, you have more problems than you know.
They are not reluctant to address the debt. They are responsible for it and have 0 possibility for paying it down. What do plan on saying next that their hearts were in the right place. We should flag you for Fraud Street, so your job can be outsourced to India for maximum profit.

I think we should be concerned about the national debt and stabilizing the economy. As has been assessed by those wiser than us, that will take some pain, and this is not even the tip of the iceberg, since so many administrations have been reluctant to address it. OP, it's nice to hear that you predicted the Market and were therefore able to prepare, move funds around, no?
And California has a lot of good, common sense people that don't all believe in rainbows financed by other people's money. Like in the Republic of Jefferson. So no need to beat them all up.

Hi @c0+1jpaq7848

I’m a Californian. I think you’re kind of an a$$ for lumping everyone into the same category.

Also, careful about wishing ill on others … karma has a way of finding people like you.

Not to you. Just to decent human beings on this board and at work. You can succccckkkk it.

You do know the $3 trillion in savings is going to be achieved by reducing costs in Medicare and Medicaid right? and they plan to borrow 4 trillion in bonds to provide the top 1% a tax cut, therefore raising the deficit again....

Sigh, congress appropriates the money, not the president.

"Appropriates the money" refers to Congress's power, enshrined in the Appropriations Clause of the U.S. Constitution, to authorize the expenditure of government funds, ensuring that no money can be drawn from the Treasury without a law authorizing it.

national debt only - not including all the other ridiculous debt amounts
2000 - 5 trillion
2025 - 37 trillion
you don't need to be a genius to see how this ends

The market is not my concern. Having a country that can pay its bills is. Both parties have drained the coffers. Someone is going to have to fix it. Or you will have a civil war when SS/medicare/medicaid/ food stamp payments don't go out. Same money needs to come in and the Feds need to shrink $3 Trillion/year in costs. IT IS GOING TO BE PAINFUL.

Most people are concerned about the debt. Unfortunately, the largest debt increase ever was during DJT 1.0. The proposed 2025 budget will result in another significant debt increase to fund tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. DJT 2.0 is doing nothing to address the debt.
