We're all excited for $6 chickens and looking forward to a protein-packed new year.
Spy cameras have been installed in working areas.
PIPs on the table, get ready for another inconsistent.
5-day RTO seems to be the biggest circulating rumor?
Anyone think there's a real possibility of leg irons at the desks?

@gx I lost my badge, but luckily I subscribed to the badge locating service.
@ej if work to you is sitting behind a computer screen all day you can probably be replaced by a chatbot
My badge was defective and got recalled unfortunately I got a loaner badge
@gr it’s true
@aa Big brother is watching..sounds a bit much. Will we review these reports regularly at PR time?..lol
I would not be surprised they will be rolling out new badges in 2026. Security and employee safety will be the reasoning but look at the tech.

What are you talking about? More H1b we have the more chickens you get. Cost saving....duh!
Just think the $5 chicken is in reach with a few less H1B's, about half as many recalls, a smaller bracket group, and more of that imaginary data subscription profit.
Shocking. They actually want people to work for their paychecks. Imagine that. Would not need the badge swipe trackers if folks simply acted like the adults they should at work-but some do not so they have to have it. If you are doing your job as prescribed by the company, none of this should matter.
It's all quite comical..since most people already work extra checking email on their phones before and after core hours. Maybe we go back to only work in the office. It's a social experiment.
Interesting how many Directors "retired" last year...hmm
@bz Who wears their badge? Maybe 1 in 20?
I think it means the cameras in the office will read your Ford badges as you move around in the office or any other Ford building. Not your vehicle.
@b3 lmfao what about people that hitch a ride with someone or ride their bicycle to work?
if you need all that tracking tech, why tf you hired all those people
"Visible badges and swipe trackers."
Makes sennse as I heard they have camera tech akin to police license plate readers so your location in the office can be confirmed. This was looked into for the employees that drop off there laptop in the office then disappear until the end of the day. Corporate is not playing around anymore. The directive is strict adherence to maximize RTO compliance.
RTO5 will happen in the 1st quarter.
CE1 make or break year, if pickup truck is not shown to the public in 2026, I would say the program will be finished and will never launch. LAP will be retooled for something else. Blue Oval City as an example.
Visible badges and swipe trackers. I'm using a mouse jiggler in 2026 since IT is tracking time on machine.
Parking will continue to be SNAFU.
Big layoff coming nothing showing on WARN for the Skunkworks but suspect MI folks will be hit hard.
Good luck, hope you did not jack up your credit cards for christmas last year, the bills will be coming in a couple of weeks.
Please no RTO 5. 4 is more than enough.
All of the extra surveillance and being treated like a child is making me so resentful. Ugh.
Many of the talent/HR folks are out of state ..seriously.
Chapter 11 for Ford is soon ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctRaWL5qfQg&t=43s
Good. I do sincerely hope they try to make people who hired in remote to now come in. Will be satisfying to see them self inflict such a thing out of sheer stupidity.
Let's wait and see what the "Derrick got axed" guy has to say. He knows the real deal. Unless we hear it from him, it's all BS.
@aa Model e layoffs? Seems inevitable.
RTO5 is for real. After that is the return of mandatory casual OT, since RTO6 or 7 is a bit too far even for Ford HR.
Increased cameras and monitoring, yes.
New tracking software to combine badge swipe location with laptop laptop login to be used to determine actual time in the office.
Free address remains law of the land except for extreme situations.
No changes to parking situation. It is the employees responsibility to arrive to work at an early enough time to find parking and meet RTO rules.
The "big" one? Yes, it is coming 1st Qtr.
