@e2 you do not speak for the ELT, thank you very much. The executives do care they want me and my family to succeed. Getting put on the LR list was truly the best thing to ever happen to me and my family. Yeah we didn’t eat and I had to turn my wife out but I know for a fact ELT was looking out for me and wanting me to reach hire. Now I am currently working four jobs. All part time at respective hourly wages between $16-$20 an hour and working with some of the best people.. they show up late and under the influence and some are on their first job! I’ve absolutely loved this transition for me and my family. I’ve been calling around about insurance offerings since none of my four jobs offer benefits or retirement of any kind aside from early pay check access via an app. My family and I have never been hungrier and are now selling our house. It’s been bittersweet but with all of the major life changes for us it was time. Cannot thank ELT enough for taking me on another great adventure…even if it’s away from Cisco

You bet they do! They also place innocent people under PIP. All of these is to drive people out without paying severance and recycle granted RSU. If threatening with PIP fails, then LR is the last resort. Don't forget the silent LR...

Usually layoffs in august/ September. No major layoffs during holidays.

Then they start again in Feb ! Smaller ones in between.

@by just because they occasionally shed fake alligator tears on the beats, do you think the ELT really honestly cares?

Spoiler alert - they don’t.

Watch their faces when addressing LRs and re-orgs. The insincerity and fake empathy is just oozing from their faces. They honestly are actively trying to hide their jubilation. And just expect us to grin and take it.

Yes they do. Always. That’s the Cisco way. Change is the only constant

Yeah in fact it was like two or three years ago they let everyone sit during the holidays knowing there were going to be layoffs shortly after. It felt really cruel. Now have they learned from that? Who knows
