Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

WBD have eaten Stankey's lunch!

Yes, that's right. Stankey & Stephensen paid top dollar to acquire Warner Media, then sell it to Zaslov @ WBD for pennies on the dollar, then WBD is acquired for more than at&t purchase price. You can't make this stuff up, Stankey is the laughing stock of the business world. AT&T total debt is at $136B, that's billion with a B!

Worst ceo of all time. His failures and blunders are studied in college business courses all around the world.

Stink sure left his mark. Unfathomable debt that can never be paid off. Every single employee hates his guts. Talent exiting at record speed. But don’t worry we took new debt to build a new HQ no one wants. The dou--e even took the time to build himself a statue on his way out after all the failures and terrible decisions. He needs to be gone, yesterday.

@bx we (id--t stank) sold for a massive loss. That’s also before the interest factor.

Didn't we pay off the debt when we spun WBD off?

That’s OK, while WBD was eating Stank’s lunch, Jeff McVest was tossing his salad.

A storm is coming when SpaceX gets to a multi-trillion dollar valuation and gets hungry for more spectrum. We were bidding against them in the spectrum buy, and that is over. Puny $200B wireless carriers are not going to be able to bid against that. There will be a lot of deals made and we all know how good our leadership team is at negotiating deals. It won't be all bad news though - keep your resume sharp.

T is in a lot of trouble going forward. Competition has never been more fierce. As the op said, $136 billion on debt. And if that weren't enough, we have about 3billion (yes billion) more outstanding shares than Verizon.
Verizon has to pay down debt too, but they aren’t paying an additional $billion a year in dividends.
At some point in the future, T will get acquired. As a company, yiu cant be last in every category and not become hunted by another company.
I am thankful for all the paychecks i have earned from here, but i am also thankful I dont have 10 or more years to work here because the ship is taking on water.
