Fresh faces, same problems

I watched Fiserv push out a whole group of older folks last year, because they were too costly. They wanted young creative types instead, so they brought in new people. Guess what? The company still runs exactly the same way. Same bad processes, same broken systems, same stupid decisions. They changed the employees but kept everything else. Now we just have less experience and the same mess.

Funny, I just made a post about all the EEOC and DOL claims against this company related to this issue. Also, I heard they just rated a bunch of older people as “needs improvement” in their 2025 reviews without any previous warnings or discussions about poor performance. The lawsuits keep coming and they are settling higher and higher payouts. And the young people keep leaving after a year or two to go to better companies. It’s a sh-t show over here with poor talent. These young people aren’t going to Alpharetta office in Georgia and just leave for better jobs downtown once they are available and they get some experience.

@fh it doesn't help that there's zero training. I had that issue when I started here before the pandemic. They expect you to do a job and there is no process or manual or SOP in place for half the sh-t we do here.

@bx That's right. Nobody new can do anything in a mentally handicapped environment that lives on tribal knowledge.
